Help and refunds

DrinkEats lets you order ahead from local shops and pick up at the counter. You pay the shop's counter prices, straight into the shop's own Square.

Something wrong with your order?

Talk to the shop first. They made it, and they can fix it or refund it on the spot. Their number is on your order page, under Call the shop.

If the shop can't help, email hello@drinkeats.com.au with your order number (it's on your text and order page) and we'll follow it up with them.

Refunds

Refunds come from the shop, back to the card you paid with, through its Square. Most banks show it within a few business days.

The shop cancelled my order

If a shop can't make a paid order, it should cancel it and refund you. Your order page will say it was cancelled. If you don't see the refund, call the shop or email us.

I couldn't pick it up

Your order was paid when you ordered, so the shop has made it for you. Call them as soon as you can. Whether they refund a missed pickup is up to the shop.

I didn't get a text

Check the mobile number you ordered with. You can always see your order and when it's ready on the order page: the link is in your text, and in Orders on DrinkEats on the same phone.

I need a receipt or tax invoice

Tap "Email me a receipt" at checkout and type your email. It shows what you ordered and the GST. If the shop is registered for GST and has added its ABN, it's a tax invoice you can claim for work. Every order page also has the shop's Square receipt.

Allergies

Add a note on the item, and call the shop before you order if it matters. Allergen details come from the shop, so they know best what's in their food.

Prices and fees

You pay the same as at the counter, with no fees for pickup. If a price looks different from the counter, tell us at hello@drinkeats.com.au.

Who is DrinkEats?

DrinkEats is an Australian business, DRINK EATS, ABN 50 125 744 601. We make the ordering app. The shops make the food, take the payment and handle refunds. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law stay the same.
